When we got together, I told Brian (Babu) to dream, little did I know that would mean us trekking across Canada in a van for 3 months. Here we are on day 64 of our trip, as they say time fly's when you're having fun.
Our only plan for this trip was to head east. Well we made it as far east as we could go and still be in Canada, now its time to head back west.
No surprise, 99% of the driving to date has been Brian. He loves to drive, I'm happy being the passenger. I am his 'Passenger Princess' and additional warning system in the van. Just in case we miss a stop sign or red light. That and navigator. I am in map heaven. We've been using Google, but as good as it is, nothing beats a map. Brian stocked up on maps for each province from BCAA before we left the 'loops, then we've been stopping at information centers along the way. I've been keeping track of our route on my atlas. I know, quirky, be then if you know me, it fits.
Sitting doing nothing is NOT something I'm good at. So as Brian has previously shared, I have the knitting pins on the go. So far he has a sweater and hat, now working on sweater #2. Focusing, as needs to be finished before we get home and I get distracted.
There really is only one down side to travelling for us. That is missing the people we love. Brian has a saying, 'How can I miss you if you won't go away?' This time it was us that went away, and we are missing the people that mean the most to us.
We still have lots to see and do. We have a loose plan of action for the next few weeks. Well more a general idea. Looking forward to seeing how it unfolds. Hoping to visit friends, new and old, and family along the way.
Only 36 days left, so want to make the count.

Missing you as well but so enjoying the pictures and stories that go with them. Love to see the fall colours and waves. I think you’ve gotten your wish to see the ocean granted! 🥰 Only 36 days left? I’ll mark it on my calendar!
I remember getting to Cape Spear and suddenly feeling sooo far away from home and an ache to be back with loved ones.
The rest of our trip didn’t lag on and we enjoyed all of our stops on the way back. Before you know it you will be back home!
We miss you guys too!
You have no idea how much I miss you guys…get home soon and safe
