We left Calgary with the intent of going to Drumheller, which we did, but found there were too many Instagrammers taking up the touristy photo spots. This one of me and Pete took about 10 minutes while people were triggering their phones and practicing their theatrical poses. Downtown was a traffic gong show (construction) so we opted to head out to Willow Creek where there were some hoodoos to explore. That, it turns out, was a bit of a road side trap with more Instagrammers so we did the quick in and out and carried on.
We ended up heading south, connecting with the Trans-Canada Hwy 1 in Redcliff where we took a campsite for the night. Good news, the shower count goes up by one tomorrow! We have a thunderstorm rumbling overhead as well as rain. Pete was happy to race around the campground, but we are more or less hunkering down for the night. If the storm persists I might try for some lightning shots, but common sense may kick in and save me from myself.

Too bad that your experience there was so limited. Hopefully you survive the storm safe and dry.
Onward tomorrow to new adventures,
This is going to be so awesome to follow you along your journey !!
